Life coaching is an opportunity to clarify:
What you really want out of your life
Who you are at your core
What is truly important to you
How you can create meaningful change
The relationship between us, coach and client, is a partnership among equals. As a client, you determine the direction of the coaching conversation, and what you’d like to get out of it. You are the expert on your own life and what is going to work for you.
As a coach I support you by giving you space to think out loud, asking questions to help you to find clarity, and helping you to recognize your strengths, values and limiting beliefs so that you can expand your view of what is possible.
If you can see yourself benefiting from having an unbiased thinking partner to support you as you navigate life, consider setting up a free introductory call.

ADHD Coaching is life coaching through an ADHD lens. ADHD is a part of every conversation as we consider the same kinds of life coach questions.
Who are YOU?
What is truly important to YOU?
How can YOU create meaningful change?
I emphasize “YOU” because life coaching, ADHD coaching especially, requires that you let go of the expectations of others in order to get satisfying results. The expectations of others are never ending. It isn’t possible to please everyone. There isn’t enough time in a life to do that. Plus, you have minimal, if any, control over how others think about you.
The person you do have influence over and who can point you in the direction of life satisfaction is yourself. The self-awareness and self-acceptance that can be gained through coaching are powerful tools for navigating life with ADHD in a meaningful way.
I can’t fix your ADHD. I don’t believe that any of us need to be fixed. That isn’t to say that the struggles aren’t real. They are very real. Instead of fixing our ADHD, we need to understand ourselves well enough to know how to utilize our strengths and accommodate our needs as we take steps in whatever direction is meaningful to us.

To get the most out of your coaching experience:
• Decide on something that you want to figure out or discuss as a topic, before the session starts.
• Get curious. Start to notice your thoughts, emotions, and experiences with compassionate curiosity.
• Think creatively. Let your hardworking self-critic rest, so you can generate some new possibilities. This can be a difficult thing to do. It’s okay if you struggle with it.
• Communicate openly about what you need and what you can handle. Make decisions based on what works best for YOU. People pleasing your coach is a waste of your time and money.
• Take notes during the session to keep track of your insights and plans.
• Remember that change takes effort and time. Struggle is a normal part of adopting a new way of doing something. Change is difficult. Be kind to yourself as you create the life you want one step at a time.
